This NYC heat is killing me, but Robyn’s awesomeness is killing me more. Tonight, Public Assembly in Williamsburg is host to “This Party is Killing You: A Night of Robyn Everything” presented by Silent Drape Runners (music artists Russ Marshalek and Sophie Weiner).

If you’re not familiar with Robyn, she’s a talented Swedish artist that is not nearly as popular as she should be in the States, despite touring with Katy Perry, TV performances, and plenty of support from music critics. I wasn’t surprised then to hear about this tribute…the girl deserves props!

The party will feature pop music from Sweden and more, a costume contest, a dance-off, and a few surprises (how cool if Robyn showed up? I know, wishful thinking).

Robyn girl, you’re not dancing alone tonight!
