The Central Park Conservancy Film Festival presents: “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure”

Back in the old days when we used to rent VHS tapes from the local video store, I was the kid that was the repeat-movie watcher. If I wasn’t begging my mom to rent “Labyrinth” or “The Goonies” for the millionth time, I was probably equally pleading with her that I needed to watch “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure” like my life depended on it. It’s hands down one of favorite films from my favorite director, Tim Burton.

Tonight, The Central Park Conservancy Film Festival presents the weird, dark comedy that brought Pee-Wee Herman into the mainstream during its week-long run of film screenings in Sheep Meadow.
