The Seaside Summer Concert Series is in its 34th year of bringing free shows to Coney Island, and the rocker chick in me was absolutely ecstatic when I heard Joan Jett & the Blackhearts would be performing tonight…ROCK ON!

Jett is one of my favorite rock icons (along with Billy Idol) with a prosperous career that spans over three decades. She co-founded the all-girl punk group The Runaways at age 15 and has had success as a solo act, and continues to tour and record with the Blackhearts.

I know they released a couple of new tracks on their Greatest Hits in 2010, but this oldie is just too bit**in…enjoy!
